Transliteration Alam nuhliki al-awwaleen
Sahih International Did We not destroy the former peoples?
Transliteration Thumma nutbiAAuhumu al-akhireen
Sahih International Then We will follow them with the later ones.
Transliteration Kathalika nafAAalu bilmujrimeen
Sahih International Thus do We deal with the criminals.
Transliteration Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeen
Sahih International Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
Transliteration Alam nakhluqkum min ma-in maheen
Sahih International Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?
Transliteration FajaAAalnahu fee qararinmakeen
Sahih International And We placed it in a firm lodging
Transliteration Ila qadarin maAAloom
Sahih International For a known extent.
Transliteration Faqadarna faniAAma alqadiroon
Sahih International And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.
Transliteration Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeen
Sahih International Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
Transliteration Alam najAAali al-arda kifata
Sahih International Have We not made the earth a container
Transliteration Ahyaan waamwata
Sahih International Of the living and the dead?
Transliteration WajaAAalna feeha rawasiyashamikhatin waasqaynakum maan furata
Sahih International And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.
Transliteration Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeen
Sahih International Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
Transliteration Intaliqoo ila ma kuntumbihi tukaththiboon
Sahih International [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.
Transliteration Intaliqoo ila thillinthee thalathi shuAAab
Sahih International Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns
Transliteration La thaleelin walayughnee mina allahab
Sahih International [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame."
Transliteration Innaha tarmee bishararin kalqasr
Sahih International Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,
Transliteration Kaannahu jimalatun sufr
Sahih International As if they were yellowish [black] camels.
Transliteration Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeen
Sahih International Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
Transliteration Hatha yawmu la yantiqoon
Sahih International This is a Day they will not speak,
Transliteration Wala yu/thanu lahum fayaAAtathiroon
Sahih International Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.
Transliteration Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeen
Sahih International Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
Transliteration Hatha yawmu alfasli jamaAAnakumwal-awwaleen
Sahih International This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.
Transliteration Fa-in kana lakum kaydun fakeedoon
Sahih International So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.
Transliteration Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeen
Sahih International Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
Transliteration Inna almuttaqeena fee thilalinwaAAuyoon
Sahih International Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs
Transliteration Wafawakiha mimma yashtahoon
Sahih International And fruits from whatever they desire,
Transliteration Kuloo washraboo hanee-an bimakuntum taAAmaloon
Sahih International [Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."
Transliteration Inna kathalika najzee almuhsineen
Sahih International Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Transliteration Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeen
Sahih International Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
Transliteration Kuloo watamattaAAoo qaleelan innakummujrimoon
Sahih International [O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.

Transliteration Wa-itha qeela lahumu irkaAAoo layarkaAAoon
